\nparallel to Beach Road, only a couple of
\nhundred metres inland. In terms of nightlife
\nand shopping, those staying here are as well
\nplaced as those on Beach Road. Beer bars,
\nrestaurants, shops, malls and hotels line its
\nsides, and Walking Street is just as accessible.
\nHowever, within this densely built-up area,
\nsea views and spacious facilities are harder to
\ncome by than on Beach Road. Most hotels are
\ntherefore of the budget or mid-range variety,
\nboth on the main road and tucked away in the
\nnumbered sois. While Sois 1 to 6 in the north
\nare relatively quiet, those south of Central
\nPattaya Road (7 to 16) get progressively more
